First Part

After posting a question on the google groups about where to mount the electronics, we received many good suggestions ... one of which was to make a holder with machine.  Since we had yet to make anything, this was an awesome opportunity to test it out!  After studying how to do this, and downloading the STL file from thingverse.com, we made a few 'trial runs'... heh... that's what we'll call it anyway.  Finally, after a few 'trails', we were extruding like a champ.  We were successful, and unsuccessful all at the same time.  The raft, which is supposed to stop the piece from curling as it solidifies, did not complete its task.  When we got to the end of the part, the MK5 hit the top of the part, and shifted the part (kinda messing it up).  Even though it is not 100% perfect, it is very usable, and the install process has been started.

On a side note, we received the headed stage (which is in assembly now... hopefully done tomorrow).  I'm hoping to run a second 'trial' with the new stage (that would be after I solder on the 50 nano-sized LEDs and resistors ;) ).

Thank you, again, to all that posted about the part!!  I think that that will be the way to go...
